Years ago I was auditioning locals to do voice work on religious audiobooks. One woman in her 30 came to audition. Her diction was poor, and our books employed an extensive vocabulary, with the occasional Latin phrase thrown in. She stumbled all over the place, and also wasn’t dressed professionally. When I had her read enough, she showed me her “Crown of Thorns” tattoo. I guess that was supposed to impress me. It repulsed me. I don’t get the tattoo thing in general (except maybe for sailors/merchant marine). I don’t get it at all for women.

I am from the tail of the baby-boom, but was the youngest of five. I find that people from my generation and even earlier act like they are of a later different generation, and I find it jarring.

I also find tattoos on women repulsive.
And by the way - I used to call myself “The Last Baby Boomer”. LOL.
