It’s a productivity tool. Like a hammer, screwdriver, or drill for example. Specifically in this case, the Scan and Go App is one of the better application tools I have ever used. In many ways, more private than a cashier mediated transaction. Much, much faster as well. I just don’t understand this automatic rejection of a valuable tool just because it’s on a phone or computer.
