There's also a new feature "Hide distracting items" where you can select items and make them disappear. Here Safari shows that the "Start and end your day..." box can be "disappeared (the blue outline - I added the green arrow).

Poof! It's gone with one click. You can keep clicking items and make them disappear in rapid succession.
