Easy to validate. Enlistment record and eventual DOD 214.
If the Navy had " 'no record of service; for her," and she has none to show, she must be one dumb female.
Didn't go to Navy boot nor Officer Training in 2018? 2019? Sat around waiting for the phone to ring? Sat around waiting for orders by mail? Didn't ask THEN? Waited until now?
"...revisited her enlistment in 2020?" This is a very poorly written piece, with pertinent questions avoided. The almost 500 comments generally agree. Ambulance-chasing, in another costume.
So she was this side of 35 when she enlisted, got sworn in, and was never deployed even to some kind of orientation program? Boot Camp? Testing? I’m assuming she had a college degree and attempted to enlist as an officer (ensign or a higher rank depending on her skills). The Navy just lost track of her? And she waited until 2025 to inquire? Something is missing from this story. A lot of things I suspect.
Amanda Reynolds is likely confusing the Department of the Navy with the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps where you can be all you say you are, not just all you can be.
I wonder what Don Shipley would say about this.

This guy is great.
She must be really good if the Navy used her as an enlistment number in 2018 and then dropped her from sight after that.
