Wearing a Communist pin should be as socially and professionally unacceptable as wearing a swastika. The Communists murdered significantly more.

I agree with you that the Communists murdered more people, but a minor sticking point is that they have been in power longer in the countries they took over than the Nazis. I do agree with your point that wearing the Communist pin should be akin to wearing a swastika. We can also blame this on the news and entertainment media as they put out more filler on the Nazis than the Communists. The only anti-Communist movie I can recall was the one put out in the 50's titled My Son John.
