Thank you for your service.
Airlines have to deal with all the states different laws, what crap
No cruises have to deal with drop in cabin pressure!
Emotional support dogs do not qualify as service dogs, any more than the little mutts people take to the grocery store with them because their poor little babies can’t be left at home alone.
I have three Belgian Malinois. All three are rescues. One is a certified narcotics detection dog, one is a tracking/search and rescue dog, and the third is just starting her working dog training. The dope dog has a contract to work at a local theme park and is around children and crowds of people. He’s very friendly and social. They are service dogs, but not the ADA kind. They are wonderful dogs, but as a breed, they need jobs, or they get bored and destructive and needy and clingy.
Glad you got some good ones! I raise Treeing Walker Coon Hounds and Plott Hounds. Plotts can be scary looking, but are generally pretty laid back and lazy - unless they see a bear- then get OUT of their way! ;)
A dog is only as good as it’s owner, IMHO. That dog on that flight was an accident BEGGING to happen - and it did. :(
