Witness, Eddie Lacy of the Packers. William "Refrigerator" Perry of the Bears. Jared "Hefty Lefty" Lorenzen of the Giants. And many more.
They called Sonny Jurgenson “Fat” when he played. He’s still around at 90.
And none of those players lasted very long, if you can get the job done, the NFL will give you a lot of leeway, when the production slows down, the NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG because you will be gone and their contracts are not guaranteed.
