If someone told a joke about 9/11 or the Holocaust or a child's head being cut off that would be out of line, right? So, I'm not sure why blasphemy is funny?
God is the greatest comedian of them all. And the punchline for people that actively mock Him is waiting at their judgement.
People that laugh at everything, extremely objectional subjects, think that they are above everyone else because they can "laugh" at anything. But they show they may have a lack of humanity in not being able to discern that there are some things that are just not funny no matter how hard they try to justify the chuckle.
We have a major issue with civility today and this is just one part of it IMHO.
Flame away.
No flame. I just disagree.

Sad but true. After a while the disasters are joked about by crude people.
“Other than that, Mr Lincoln, how did you like the play?”
Custer’s last thoughts....A painting of Indians picking cotton...”Where did all those cotton picking Indians come from?”
“Cinco de Mayo, A Mexican day of mourning for all the mayonnaise shipment to Mexico lost in the Titanic..”
“What color were Christa McAuliffe’s eyes on January 28, 1986? Blue. One blew this way and one blew that way.”
I remember a couple of people who almost got their butts whipped for making fun of those killed.
Even today on Facebook when someone posts about a crime taking place the clowns show up.
