They were fun movies at the time. I can’t watch most of them anymore. We’re well beyond that era of filmmaking and stories of that type, now.
Ferris Buellers Day Off, Real Genius, those are about the only 2 I can get through now. And its a push.
I love Real Genius; my favorite Kilmer movie is “Top Secret!,” though. My dad got me into that one when it came out on VHS. I remember one off-color joke (which went completely over my head at the time), looking down at where he was stretched out on our ugly green carpet, and seeing his shoulders shake with the laughter that he tried so hard to hide. He didn’t make a peep, but those shaking shoulders gave him away, lol.
