“I'm running for Governor of the great state of Michigan. This decision comes after deep reflection, prayer, and a conversation with my wife and children.”

He's in denial. 2 failed senate runs and a close win in the house the first time. He has the same problem as Winsome Sears and Dan Cameron in Ky. Republicans and other voters don't see blacks as executive material. Barak was a show horse whose time has come. The young fella in Md. is in a deep blue state. Is Michigan ready for that? I don't think so.

As a member of the House he also voted with the Dems more than a few times on critical legislation. RHINO!! The Republicans better come up with a better candidate.

I haven’t kept up with John James . I recall a few years ago, Hugh Hewitt used to praise him as a rising star in the GOP. I didn’t know he was more of the RINO type.

You’re probably right but I sure wish otherwise. Someone needs to take Whitmer down.

His House district is very marginal and his reelection there is hardly assured. James probably figures he may as well try one last time for higher office (and probably lose) before leaving politics.

He’s just aiming too high. His best bet is to get appointed to a high(er) profile position where he can show his stuff. There was talk of him being our UN rep. Once he loses he’ll have to start over unless he withdraws and stays in his house seat. Like Linda and Scott(SC) this guy may be getting bored where he’s at. Doesn’t mean there’s a position waiting for him.

He was one of the 20 rino traitors who voted against Jordon for speaker. We have not forgotten John.
