Unfortunately, it is best to plan ahead.

I arranged for my husband’s cremation (his choice) before he died and before we knew the outcome - nine detailed pages of info I had to fill out. Crematorium told me they would keep the information on file for two years.

Really really eased things when the time came and made the entire process much smoother. I was glad everything was already in place, I was overwhelmed and had enough to deal with at that time.

Sure I get that, but I doubt discussed it with him incessantly.

Of course plans have to be made but is it too much to ask for a little decorum?

Even his daughter said “can I live a little please?”

That is sad that she had to even say that
