Now if China Mitch were to repeat this I might believe this BS, but right now it is just Forbes.
“Here’s Why U.S. Manufacturers Can’t Quit China..”
Thats because they aren’t manufacturers, they are importers.
Gosh. Might as well stick a gun in our mouths. They won.
Here’s your author:

Having read all that I suspect a slight bias. 😏
Forbes sucks
See my post #6
Any biz that can’t set up and produce what they need in the US to avoid 100%+ tariffs probably shouldn’t be in business and will be replaced by other providers. (There is zero need for us to recreate the horror of Shenzhen here!)
i am not saying that US manufacturers have to quit manufacturing in Communist China
I am only saying how nice it will be when they start manufacturing in USA again, too!
we can weigh the resulting balance later
ps: until the do start/restart manufacturing in USA, the article’s title is grossly misleading (they aren’t US Manufacturers if they don’t manufacture in the US!)
Here she is: https://www.forbes.com/sites/shimiteobialo/
We shouldn’t be trading one thing piece of bamboo with those Covid-designing f@&&s. Me so sowwy.
A woke idiot telling us we can’t.......EFF her
The trade deficit with China peaked in 2018, and has since declined 25%
As far as cheap crap goes, Vietnam or Bangladesh are cheaper. As far has high tech goes, American businesses are already very wary of giving China more control.
Trump is now giving the impetus to less trade a further push
Ha! Forbes is owned by a Chinese company.
They don’t teach welding in the US? What a load of Shimite.
China played the long game to get us here. Trump is playing the long game to get us out.
Can anyone in this country think past the next quarter?
Trump’s current maneuvers aside, the US government has been openly hostile to American manufacturing and production for 50 years and has encouraged countries like China (especially China) to pull US mfg over there. Hell, the government drove it over there. A lot of traitors in DC have gotten wealth doing this.
Cost and quality are king where consumer preference wins in the open competition of the voluntary cooperation between buyer and seller in the marketplace.
If you as the buying consumer can get a better quality product and/or a lower price for the same, the consumer doesn’t care where it came from - only the stupid politicians care.
The Free Market Economy (FME) is oblivious to politics. The FME cares only about self interest in the voluntary cooperation between buyer and seller in the marketplace which drives supply and demand which in turn drives price and availability.
Post WWII there is nothing more humiliating than to be born a middle class US citizen. Everyone in the world hates you, cuts you down, disparages you, taxes you, kills you in wars and treats you unfairly at every turn. Every public policy decision made in the USA and the world was designed to make the US middle class poorer and less powerful. Day in, day out.
Any excuse in a storm!

Could have just said he’s a fag.
