Peter Navarro invented an expert named "Ron Vara" who he's cited a number of times. I don't know if he did it facetiously, but the fact is he did it in six of his books and it wasn't widely known to be phony till 2019 when an Australian trade researcher uncovered it.

Sounds about right.

He's one of those who pushed the narrative that the Vice President has power to reject Electors and issue an order to send them back to the States. No such thing exists or has ever existed - every bit as authentic as "Ron Vara."

Nonetheless, his trade views don't have 0 merit - but it was far better when it was balanced with Larry Kudlow's expertise in the mix.

Never saw that from Navarro. His writings on electoral fraud are dead on. Who DID say that was John Eastman? Maybe you should look that up. CA fwiw- took Eastman’s law license. In most other ways Eastman is a true Constitutional Scholar, hated by RINOS and their handmaidens of Demonrats.
