I disagree.
While I’m not a fan of his metaphor, I don’t agree that all liberals/progressives are evil. I know quite a few of them. Some are family.
They aren’t out to hurt anyone. They just don’t look at government the way that we do. They think government is to be trusted. They think government is the fair arbitrator of all things that you can’t trust people to do. Somehow, they don’t seem government as a collection of politician and bureaucrats, but as some sort of objective machinery to do fair and good things.
