Yep. Two dollars a few times a year was OK for the fun of imagining what I’d do if I won a huge jackpot. Five dollars is too much. No more Mega Millions for me, even if the jackpot gets into the tens of billions.

I buy either a Powerball or MegaMillions ticket every week. Occasionally win a few bucks. Friend won $3500 a few weeks ago. It’s sort of fun, cuz who knows?

Five bucks? NEVER.

The odds of winning big jackpot is one in 292 million vs. 1 in 302 million before. Used to play when after deduction and tax was about 100 million...but since price went up 2.5 times I will play when take home is 250 million...maybe 2 or 3 times a year...
One would think the headline writer could figure out the increase was 2.5 times more....instead of “more than double”
