The important - potentially life saving and organ saving - priority is to get immediate control with appropriate BP meds. Then, of course, resolve any weight and exercise neglect. At age 60, I'm in better shape than likely 90% at my age and for three years now. Cycle almost every day with a great diet. It sucks to be tied to the HBP meds, yet here I am.
