Cholesterol is also the waxy substance that coats the inside of our veins and arteries to stop hemmorages.

If it’s too low, strokes increase.

Yep, one of the serious downsides of having cholesterol too low is that leads to the brain not getting enough, and thus dementia.

Bottom line is that ‘high’ cholesterol MIGHT be indicative of a serious problem, but if it’s coupled with high triglycerides, then than chasing cholesterol numbers is going after the WRONG target.
