Saw the Military Tatoo when my dad was stationed at RAF Mildenhall with the U.S. Navy in the Mid-1960s. Probably the highlight for the three years we lived in Endland

Wrong. Sequim only gets about 10” of rain each year. It’s in the Olympic Mountains rain shadow.

Seattle gets about 60 inches. South Whidbey Island gets about 40”. North Whidbey Island only gets about 20”. It’s one of the main reasons that NAS Whidbey Island was created not too long before WW II. Mostly VFR flight rules and also a perfect location for the Seaplane Base.

Gif....

Then Whoopie Goldberg had the next ride. Then the suspension, shocks and tires all were history.

Hokaido and Northern Honshu is mild in the summer. It’s very safe, super clean, cheap, great food, amazing culture, nature, friendly people, summer events, fun baseball games, and ton of things to do.

You have to reach out to your congressman to request it. Do it several months in advance (like right now). Check your email daily for the background check information and complete it right away. You have to know the time frame you are in the area because they will lock you in on a certain date and time.

Tours fill up quickly and are limited in number and capacity.

If you delay in the request or delay in responding to the vetting email, you will be bumped off the waiting list.

Last time I was in Rapid city, I stopped into a bar to get lunch. The door stoop was still covered in bloody rags from the night before.

Tampons should be flushed!

Second that. Williamsburg, Yorktown and the whole Tidewater area are beautiful and interesting.

Charleston and Savannah are amazing but not in the Summer and the people there will tell you it’s a bad time to visit because of the heat and humidity. Spring or fall are better times.

Now is the time to see the WH and its only a 2-1/2 to 3 hrs easy drive to Williamsburg/Yorktown so all are doable.
