I have taken college level courses in geology.

I would like to have someone explain to me how such a wall could have been created by volcanic and tectonic activities.

See the last photo in #30. The bottom layer is mostly rectangular blocks naturally formed. One can imagine this forming through sedimentation and striational alignment.
