I have experienced on many occasions that they can be racist against each other if you can wrap your head around that.

When I was in the Ivory Coast many years ago, as we went through some villages, my interpreter used to explain that those people used to be his ancestors slaves.

They were one generation away from the facial tribal scarring to identify their tribes

Or just the opposite, that light-skinned blacks are not as black as dark-skinned blacks. My stepson ran into that in HS.

watch commercials with blacks in them...there is usually only one dark skinned black...the rest are lighter...
