I have an insane neighbor that has shot the deer with a firearm in a very close together .5 acre lot neighborhood. The deer love his exotic plants. The lib doesn’t mind shooting deer and wasting tons of water on his garden but refuses to to trim his dead trees. They can’t be reasoned with plant deer friendly bushes all over your yard.

This is a problem all over suburban America.
The deer population is living in the suburbs eating the shrubs and landscape plantings. Yet, the houses are too close together to control the population with firearm hunting.

On Long Island has a tremendous issue. So much so that they have to hire archery hunters to come in and kill deer.

On Peaks Island in Casco Bay, ME right off the city of Portland they have such a bad deer problem that everyone covers their yards/bushes in mesh deer fencing. This is an island a mile off shore. No natural predators out there.
