Not sure about Texas or Florida. Oklahoma does not have a democratic US Congressman, Senator, or any state wide elected official. All 77 red counties. We got some rinos. Can’t have everything.

Nothing wrong with your PoV.

What do you think of President Trump's use of tariff threats to bring manufacturing back to the United States? He's already gotten nearly $1 trillion in commitments from foreign businesses to build manufacturing plants in the United States.

I have a feeling that much of the talk of tariffs will not materialize, at least not to the crippling extent that the LAAP-dog media is portraying to aid the Democrat comeback.

I think that President Trump is hoping to rebuild our manufacturing base to: 1) close the national security threat of the United States not being able to produce its own war materiel should we need it, 2) not be beholden to our adversaries for critical needs like medicines, steel, lumber, and other raw materials, and 3) bring the jobs back home to rebuild the middle class.

How does all of that score on your capitalist radar? Does that preserve our position as the world's leader and deterrent against non-democratic encroachments by our adversaries?

Yes, Impeachment has turned into a joke. I do think it’s time for Elon to go though. I would prefer the work of reform to go underground and quiet. President Trump said that the Cabinet Secretaries will pick it up.

Impeachment doesn’t mean anything anymore. It is simply a censure now.

Musk didn’t turn the state?

There were no legislative seats up for election. This was a State Supreme Court race in an odd year election, plus a few odd county races.

There was nothing to turn. The state Supreme Court flipped to majority Democrat, but the Republicans still hold majorities in both the state Assembly and Senate.

The big win out of Wisconsin is that they passed a voter ID law. That to me is more important.

That's good. But how the hell did Brad Schimel lose this extremely important election? What happened to all the Trump voters from November??

We need to ratify Article the First. Gerrymandering would go the way of the dodo.

Since abortion is EVIL, the REAL reason is EVIL people are somehow, someway forcing the EVIL outcome.

Apparently, LIEberals know how to manipulate events to secure the outcome they need.

It seems to me that if one voted in favor of voter ID, one would not be inclined to vote in favor of the LIEberal judge.

Where is the disconnect? What am I missing?

If this is a nothing burger election, why the visit and 25 million investment? Or the 2 1 million dollar checks? Downplay when you lose. Crow when you win.

I didn't say it's nothing, I said it's not going to have the national import that it's being billed to be. You asked why Musk didn't turn the state? Why were you expecting that when there were no legislative races -- state or federal -- on the ballot? Your remark made no sense in the context of yesterday's election.

Democrats made a big deal over flipping the state Supreme Court. That's why they spent so much money in the state. The Wisconsin Supreme Court cannot unilaterally replace the current district map to give Democrats two more seats in Congress in the 2026 election. I don't see a straight-forward path for them to achieve that goal, as was being hyped prior to the election.

Do you see a way?

It was one of those “split ballot” elections!

It seems reasonable to me that the 1.42 million who voted in favor of voter ID would vote in favor of the Conservative Judge, and the .84 million “No” votes would be for the LIEberal. Instead it was LIEberal 1.29 million to Conservative 1.05 million.

What am I missing?

Was this a “He who counts the votes” Big Cheat election, anyone?

purportedly, Wisconsin ran out of ballots early in the voting day... in primarily red counties.

apparently most if not all of the drop off ballot boxes we were told had been removed... were in fact NOT removed, still in place and open for business....

yes. stolen. IMHO

I listened to a few minutes of the Vince show. He mentioned that over a million less voters turned out for this off season election than the last fall in Wisconsin. I live in Illinois and can contest to that likely hood. My normal polling place is only open every 2 years during the major federal elections. I went to my normal polling place yesterday and it was closed. There was no sign on the door telling voters where to vote. Unless you are a dedicated voter, most people will shrug it off and skip voting. We can vote anywhere during election day, but you have to be aware that anyone can vote from different polling venues. It is not well advertized..

The district map layout isn’t on my radar. I’m simply an observer. I guess I’m curious when Musk declared the race possibly affecting the outcome of civilization. That doesn’t indicate some sort of import?
