This judicial race for an open seat on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court has drawn national attention as proxy war for President Donald Trump’s agenda, with Elon Musk and others in his circle spending record amounts to back Brad Schimel, a Waukesha County judge and former Wisconsin attorney general. Schimel faces Susan Crawford, a Dane County judge backed by Democrats. The seat will determine majority control of this swing state’s high court, which is expected to issue decisions about abortion rights and redistricting this year.

I’m really impressed by how many students in Dane County are coming out for Schimel. This is a very important election, and it’s looking like it will be a landslide victory.

You know, if the Republicans would actually do something you wouldn’t have to freak out about losing 2 seats. They have done nothing! It sucks that all the Democrats want to do is impeach Trump. Having only one sane party is awful.

Don’t worry about it. The Republicans will sweep in 2026 is they actually pass the Trump agenda. They are so lazy. If they lose next year it’s their own fault. As a matter of fact if the Democrats pledged not to impeach Trump they would probably be the better choice.

How do you know this?

I have two nephews at the University of Wisconsin and a friend at MATC. They are saying students are coming out strong for Schimel.

Hopefully Republican will win, but I won’t be shocked if it goes the other way.

However if this turns out like the 2023 race where Dem wins by 10+ something is very wrong

Fair and balanced WaPo somehow didn’t have room for “and millions an hour coming in from Soros interests to fund the Dem side.” /S

That makes me happy and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

The glimmer of hope from the young generations as in November, 2024 is good to see.

Young men are being “influenced” by folks too “extreme” for folks around here....

They have had to deal with the insane left—up close and personal.

They have learned to stop worrying about staying in somebody else’s Overton Window.
