When do you ever address a person as a 3rd person pronoun?
I don’t go up to a friend, start speaking to them and say something like “How is He doing today” “How is Them today?”. It’s asinine.
3rd person pronouns are how you refer to a person to someone else. I.e. This is speech policing. You are not allowed to refer to me as He/She/It even when I am not near you.
That’s pretty cool. I will start doing that to they today. It would really get annoying. Don’t he think so?
The entire intent behind this is for us to acknowledge them as a separate and protected class.
