The arrests of two judges who flagrantly broke the law are not just justified—they’re a necessary defense of the rule of law itself. Anyone clutching their pearls over these arrests, especially Democrats tripping over themselves to cry foul, is either dangerously ignorant or outright endorsing criminal behavior. These judges weren’t victims of some political witch hunt. They were caught red-handed, betraying the very system they swore to uphold. And the Democrats screaming about it? They’re not just wrong—they’re exposing themselves as unhinged, law-breaking morons who’d rather torch justice than admit their side screwed up.

Judge Hannah Dugan in Wisconsin didn’t just “make a mistake”—she actively obstructed federal ICE agents from doing their job. This wasn’t some noble stand; it was a calculated move to shield an undocumented immigrant with a criminal history from deportation. Dugan smuggled the guy out of her courtroom through a restricted exit, acting like she was running a getaway service for felons. She wasn’t protecting a persecuted refugee. She was helping a man with domestic abuse charges dodge the feds. That’s not judicial discretion; that’s aiding and abetting. If you or I pulled that stunt, we’d be in handcuffs. But when a judge does it, we’re supposed to debate “context”?

Then there’s Judge Joel Cano in New Mexico. This guy wasn’t just bending the rules—he was living with a suspected gang member from Tren de Aragua, a ruthless Venezuelan cartel. Cano and his wife were harboring this criminal in their home, and when the feds came knocking, they tried to cover it up. We’re talking about a judge—a supposed pillar of the community—shacked up with a thug tied to one of the most violent organizations out there.

And Democrats want to defend this? They want to stand up for a guy who’s practically a cartel accessory? If that’s not insanity, I don’t know what is.

Let’s set the record straight: judicial independence doesn’t mean judges get a free pass to break the law. It means they’re free to interpret the law fairly—not use their robes as a get-out-of-jail-free card while committing crimes. The moment a judge starts smuggling fugitives or harboring gang members, they’ve torched any claim to that independence. They’re not martyrs; they’re criminals in black robes.

But the left’s response is as predictable as it is pathetic. Calling the arrests “politically motivated,” as if the FBI just randomly decided to raid judges’ homes for kicks. Sorry, but when you’re caught obstructing federal agents or hiding a gang member in your guest room, that’s not politics—that’s probable cause.

Imagine if a Republican judge did the same thing. The media would lose its mind, demanding resignations, impeachments, and probably a primetime special. But because these judges lean left, suddenly it’s all about “context” and “nuance.” Spare me. The law doesn’t care about your political affiliation. That’s how it works—or at least, how it’s supposed to. Anything else is just tribalism masquerading as principle.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Just landed in Rome. A good day in talks and meetings with Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to a deal, and the two sides should now meet, at very high levels, to “finish it off.” Most of the major points are agreed to. Stop the bloodshed, NOW. We will be wherever is necessary to help facilitate the END to this cruel and senseless war!
