Roger was never heavily into drugs.

“He was talking about his generation.”

But don’t be fooled again.

“Roger Daltry... Who is he? ;-)”

You mean “Who are You.”

Did they also play in the world’s loudest rock band?

I don’t remember Daltrey saying anything against Jews or Israel. But the other Roger(Waters) is probably who you’re thinking about.

Ok...This is 4 nights ago at the Royal Albert Hall concert. Go to the 7:10 mark. Who else can scream like that at 81?

Dang! He’s still got it. My BFF had a huge crush on Roger when we were teenagers and she would always melt during the “Won’t Get Fooled Again” scream.

I saw The Who a few times in my youth - in DC, Philly and Houston. They put on great, high energy shows.

Lol. I should have recognized it. I listen to bits and pieces of that album quite a lot back then

Some areas of the Tommy musical are very close to feeling like songs about God.
“Listening To You, I Feel The Music!” has always affected me deeply. , It’s the kind of song that could also be chanted.

Yes, that was one of the albums I played in my room as a tween. Even then, I saw that it was making fun of the idolization of rock stars/celebrities but dang the music was good.

“See Me, Feel Me/Listening to You” was great in concert. They used lasers - cutting edge stuff back then.

I saw a lot of acts during my misspent youth but never did see The Who.... a regret as I think I have all their albums.

On the other hand, it’s not too late... just need to fly somewhere and try to snap some tickets!
