It is disingenuous not to mention that Canada has worked with China to import auto parts from China and then sell them to the US under USMCA rules allowing China to further take advantage of the USA by using Canada as a conduit.
There is something I don’t understand.
Half of Tesla’s production (just an example) is now in China, where the Communist regime isn’t just assembling cars—they’re stealing the technology, reverse-engineering it, and now producing more advanced, high-tech, and cheaper EVs. China’s BYD is on its way steamrolling Tesla, and yet, Elon still clings to his China dream… but for how much longer before reality smacks him awake?
Meanwhile, we allow TikTok —a Chinese data-harvesting machine— to operate freely in the U.S., while Facebook, X, and every other American platform are outright banned in China. The hypocrisy is staggering.
It’s time to stop playing tough against the weak and start standing up to real threats. Beating up on easy targets like Canada isn’t strength. True strength is confronting a rising China head-on. And yet, all we’ve done is slap on some laughably small tariffs while they laugh at us from Beijing.
America, stop hesitating. Be tough against the tough!
