Those crazy Limeys are at it again. Isn’t multiculturalism grand!
‘ey myte, you got a loicence for slicey, not stabby.
Mods vs Rockers...Teddy Boys vs. Mods...sharks vs jets..mano o mano...Montaques vs Capulets....Borgias vs. Medici’s....Gotti vs Genovese....Alabama vs Auburn...only now, the amateurs use machetes....while the capon Starmer cowers in a corner....pooping in his pants...
But they’re illegal in the UK. How could this happen?
I believe that British journalists always refer to any blade longer than three inches as a machete.
It would also be harder to hit a bystander a few blocks away with a machete swing than a bullet.
Thanks for Anthony Cummins information. Britain never needed to worry about a foreign country destroying it because they did it themselves.
I didn’t think of this at first but this bring things full circle.
We will b banned from using weapons but will have to improvise.
Okinawan Shorin Ryu martial arts as I once studied at a dojo has a tradition of farmer and laborer tools such as the sai that became weapons with stylized training. Police and invading soldiers couldn’t tell which people were merely working and which had been ready to fight.
True of other Asian traditions. Nunchaku for thrashing rice.
Sai for lifting hay. Kama for lifting crops. Bo sticks for carrying buckets or loads. Tecco from a type of horseshoe.
And a tonfa which looks in police hands just like it did it old China when it was “an old man’s crutch” or a staff.
(The police baton with a handle part way down.)
Sox vs Cubs…Ford vs Chevy…great taste vs less filling.
It never ends.
Such vibrancy!
Many decades ago.
I brought a Machete for cutting brush.
My girl friend drove and I hacked at over hanging limbs.
It was fun but not very effective.
I think I only did that one time.
