The venue seems to give a discount for charity events and it’s half a dime to a nickle where the better profit would have come from. They wanted short term profit. Their choice but it’s also a decision about precedent for other “charitable” events.

As for bringing a camera, the head of the charity didn’t object to Netflix being there, but to not being informed in advance that Meghan and her friend were coming and to Meghan suddenly micromanaging an event she wasn’t supposed to be at. She’s said she would have welcomed Meghan etc if she had been allowed to plan in advance.

Agreed on “not particularly fond of.” I’m more like “disgusted” by the pair.

So it wasn't Netflix that was the deal-breaker, it was Meghan? Well... I can understand that. From what I can tell, she's one of those women, like Blake Lively, who just goes full Evil Queen when she's in charge.
