Not sure I follow your meaning? I was responding to that other person’s story. Unless there is something truly over the top going on, like child molestation etc... It’s a brutal overreaction to freeze out an elderly parent, and refuse them any comfort when they are ill.
And yes, young adults today are swirling in cult that tells them they are brave for freezing out parents no matter how much pain it causes that parent.
Any suggestion that compassion or forgiveness has a place in life is hooted and shouted down.
My post is a great example that generally petty causes should not be dealt with in a manner than is so extremist and pain causing.
