I love a lot of things about New Mexico. Beautiful country. High mountains. Desert. Forests. History. But I hate the government here. People, for the most part, are pretty easy to get along with here. But there are always agitators.
LOL
The writer must have skipped LA, San Fransicko, Hotlanta, Philly, Chiraq and a host of other Dem run hellholes.
We were in Gallup about 8 years ago. It seemed pretty sketchy then.
What part of ABQ is this located in?
I used to like Santa Fe and fly fishing in the Pecos River but the stinking kalifornia liberals invaded and, apparently, trashed the entire state.
Just give the democRATS time. Remember when the Hussein/Biden Regime closed the scenic views to Mount Rushmore? As if they could 'hide' the monument. If democRAT control of New Mexico continues, they will do anything.
It’s a blue state, doing blue state stuff.
Everyone has a side of a town they will not go to at night.
It’s no surprise that you haven’t returned to Gallup.
The south side mostly, but the whole place has gone to pot. We left a couple of years ago.
South-east from I-25/Tijeras Arroyo northward to near Kirtland Air Force Base extending out to Central Avenue. Was bad thirty years ago and had gone, dramatically, downhill ever since.
I moved to a remote mountain hamlet two years ago
I tell anyone thinking of moving here to binge watch all seasons of Breaking Bad
Yes, we have meth labs here
We left in 2006. We lived in Rio Rancho, so the mess in ABQ wasn’t in our face all the time.
Rio Rancho is much safer. We moved here a couple of years ago but I travel through the war zone every day to work. Long commute but not worth living close.
Isn’t that where Jesse bought his pistol?
“I follow Nick on YT. He’s a Trump fan! His video where he visited the Gulf of America was funny.”
He used to be a liberal. I guess seeing all this squalor in blue cities converted him.
Both my kids born there.
Late 70’s/early 80’s.
I-25 north & south, I-40
east and west. Perfect for drug
distribution. The truck stops
were always jamb packed.
Moved to Roswell when a job
afforded the move.
I’s pretty conservative here
with the oil patch bunch, farmers,
ranchers, and the dairies.
We’re actually in a 2nd ammendment
sanctuary county.
As with Austin in Texas, those here
wouldn’t dream of living in
Albuquerque.
That state clearly lives up to its name.
