There should be no “protected classes”. This goes against the whole premise that everyone is equal under the law. The government should be color blind as well as blind to “sexual preferences”.

Amen to that. Even back in the 1990s I could see the homosexuals were angling to be a protected class like blacks.
Back then the gays were saying “we just want to be left alone” and now look at where we are.
