I've a college chum from 55 years ago who is long, long past risk of recurrences, as docs sometimes foresee. A crazy granny, healthy and sometimes with a little too much Irish whiskey [ :) ], she's going strong, Sending all sorts of good thoughts to you.

My dear friend had breast cancer in her 30s and had a single mastectomy.

When she was 75 it returned with a vengeance — throughout her entire body. It took her in 2018.

So even though it’s been 11 years, I’m always on guard.
