“We went back to an older Maytag after our new washer broke.”

The washer in the house we bought had a brand new (less than one year) “eco” top loading washer. It wouldn’t cover the clothes with water, and it was PLANNED that way. It had no agitator. It had no “oomph”! Of COURSE the clothes didn’t get clean.

I found a hack online that worked, which involved hauling pans and pitchers of water to the washer to cover the clothes. They still didn’t get clean. (An agitator would’ve been nice.) We schlepped water for about a week, gave the washer away and installed our old on.

I’m so glad Trump’s EOs are supposed to mitigate a lot of this crap.
