Don’t be daft. He wasn’t a hidden chat participant. Everyone could see there was a JG in the room. Camouflage, my ass.

If nobody in the chat who saw JG in the room thought to ask in chat, “Don’t recognise that guy... Who’s JG? Please identify yourself” the question you should be asking is, why the hell didn’t they. Are they completely dim? Even a SCHOOL LEAVER joining our postroom wouldn’t be that dumb.

Where I work, we seniors actually test new hires in team meetings by getting one of us to dialing in from an unmanaged device - in Teams it automatically flags that joiner as unverified.

If they don’t challenge it, we bring it up in the meeting and they keep failing to challenge it, they get sent on a cyber security awareness course.
