Thanks for the synopsis. In the end, it’s up to each caregiver to determine when a child’s dysfunctional behavior is over what that caregiver can or is willing to handle.
At that point, you need to ask for backup or relocation of that child. It’s easy for me to say that. Maybe they did ask for help through the system, and there wasn’t any.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. The system is completely overwhelmed because so many kids are getting "diagnosed" with autism, and ADHD, and ODD, and CPTSD, and once that happens they are labeled "special needs." I filled out a lot of questionnaires when I was a teacher, and it seems to me that kids are diagnosed very quickly and easily nowadays. The schools get extra money for "special needs" kids, and it doesn't mean what it used to mean. You see that headline and you picture a child in a wheelchair or with a severe learning disability. But... I don't know.
