Under protest.
Judge Greer’s order said Terri was to not receive food nor water by any means. In other words, a death sentence. So if a death sentence was proper, then it should have been humanely carried out. It wasn’t.
Just my opinion, but it’s fairly obvious that the Democrats paid the liberal wing of the Supreme Court a visit in 2022 to say we need Roe vs Wade reversed. They probably said, “It will help us in the 2022 and 2024 elections if abortion is once again an issue.”
What really bothered me was the way they killed her.
I would not kill any animal that way.
Drugs are cheap. So is water.
Death by deprivation is not very comfortable!
“blame”
I wonder if she had a will or not, and if it did did it say she would want life support in case of a medical issue? Why was she hospitalized o begin with? I don’t remember the history of this case.
I just feel that if someone like Trump were president then, that he’d’ve gone right in with military if necessary and pulled her out of there.
This is the biggest problem I had with Bush.
This is the case that brought me to FR to begin with, in 2003. It was horrific what they did to her. The Culture of Death on full display. As I recall, the husband’s lawyer was a radical euthanasia advocate.
Even her Bishop would not go to see her. He did nothing to help her or her family in any way.
Jeb and his brother did nothing and they could have.
I lived day after day on these Terri threads.
I just thought about these things a couple of days ago, and I came to the conclusion that President Trump would have done something to save her.
Why do I get the sense that “Bioethics” dehumanizes people?
If Jeb Bush had stepped up he would’ve become president because he would have stood for something other than tippy toes.
So it’s not just religious conservatives who make the connection. Good to know.
Bioethicists = death cult.
