I stopped buying them years ago. As long as that political trash continues, I won’t buy it again.
But isn't "coconut" a popular slur amongst Black people to inveigh against fellow Negroes whom they accuse of being actually "White inside?"
Similar to the slur of "Oreo?"
Regards,
How about Unilever divests and B&J has to stand on their own pronouns.
I used to buy Cherry Garcia but stopped buying their product a few years ago precisely because of their extreme wokism.
Helen Hutchley’s Ice Cream
It was never even good ice cream. Far too sweet, with low-quality added ingredients and transfats in every bite.
I remember when they first came to public view/prominence in the mid 80s. I was in high school. I vowed then and there that I would NEVER allow a single spoonful to pass my lips. 40 years later, I never have.
I think it was their politics that brought me to even know about their ice cream, so I’m pretty sure I’ve never spent so much as a penny on any of B&J’s products.
“Kamala Coconut Jubilee”?!
How about “Kommie Kamala Kokonut”? “Word Salad Surprise”?
We did a New England self drive tour a couple years ago and did a tour of one of the plants and had ice cream afterwards. I only agreed since my wife setup the itinerary and it was the first and last time I had it. Great quality ice cream but can’t stomach the political side nor want to contribute to it either.
When the Bud Light boycott started there were many naysayers here who said it would not matter.
They were wrong. The impact was felt far beyond one beer product.
Naysayers have a horrible track record.
