In my field, if you take a work day away from teaching, to be on the job to stay current you don’t take a lead position. What the hell is this?
I’m traveling soon. There are very few carriers I am even looking at
I went up in a four seater recently. The pilot is a 3x engineer the latest a phd in aerospace engineering. The mom is in the back seat It’s like the proverbial bus full of nuns. That’s a safe bet. It was a nice flight. Got to co pilot a bit spotting other aircraft miles off we knew were there from radio chatter. I should have taken a Xanax -still.
Traveling the only choices are airlines. Who has the best business practices. Who is more concerned with things other than safety. I was told by my suburban housewife buddy about a year ago to go with a certain airline as it was good about hating Trump. Sick
Part of the problem is that when the simulator instructor was flying every 3 months he should have been the copilot not the pilot.
I am not a pilot, but the rate of descent being twice what it should have been is something they both should have noticed and decided to go around or something. Were they descending too fast because they were too close to the runway for their altitude?
