“New York City we have our own building electrification mandate called “Local Law 97” that is said to require some 50,000 buildings to convert to electric heat and cooking by 2030. Does anybody really think we can make any more progress toward such a goal”

It’s too bad for them that the ubiquitous glass telephone booth is a relic of the recent past. They could have counted all those in the city toward their goal of 50k buildings. They ARE all electric, though the heating is non-existant... as are the cooking amenities.
