A retired Dallas County sheriff's deputy once told me, when I asked him his opinion on the JFK assassination (he was a deputy in 1963), "Oh, Johnson had him killed. Everybody knows that."

Doesn't mean he didn't use the CIA and the Mob to get it done. LBJ was probably the most connected and ruthless politician to ever gain the office of president. His personal history reads like a psychopath. And one the Kennedys went out of their way to treat like s***.

I am comfortable saying the assassination could not have happened without LBJ’s active participation.

What is less clear are the details—many of those are in dispute.

I am also convinced he could not have pulled it off without active alliances with the CIA (including former CIA folks) and the FBI at a minimum.

The mob and Mossad may have been icing on the cake.

We are still missing a lot of key pieces.
