Would suspect he could use an AUTO PEN for Christmas cards, etc, but LEGISLATION & OTHER LEGAL DOCUMENTS SHOULD HAVE A “WET SIGNATURE”.

I don’t disagree with you but I believe it’s legal to use the pen on official documents.

Good point———check the official policy usage.....what it can and cannot be used for.

I agree...government is TOO BIG if the President cannot sign legislation, executive orders & the like.

I’ve shared this on several threads but my son ran the auto pen for a secretary under Trump’s first term. He would do a 2-3” stack of letters everyday for different inquires from around the federal government. Most letters were sourced by department lawyers and then signed using AP and it was considered a legal reply from the secretary himself.
