If the suicide rate is anything to go by, the UK is a lot happier than the supposedly happiest places.

We’ve got to find out what makes people happy and copy this all over the world!! Safe streets, good schools, clean neighborhoods, strong economies— this is exciting. Okay, first, we have to figure out what Finland, Iceland, Austria, Denmark have in common and then replicate it! Oh wait, we all know why these countries are in great shape. We all know what makes things fail. We just can’t talk about it without getting doxxed or losing our jobs. Never mind.

That’s the first thing I thought of as well. Finland has had high suicide rates for years (decades). They are socialists though.
