Mercedes ranked number 29 out of 30 based average predicted reliability based on the annual Consumer Reports member survey.
Chrysler was number 30.
Lexus, Toyota, Mini, Acura and Honda were the top five.
What I fail to understand is WHY do people continue to buy these automobile brands? They are crap. This data is published every year. It is not a secret. This is not the first year these brands are in the bottom of the list.
Depends on the model, depends on the care. I have had M-B that are tanks. Of course, I never buy them new and they always go to a mechanic for a thorough inspection before purchase is finalized.
