Is that an example of the “expert” opinion you use to formulate your opinions? Over thirty people have died in fires started by charging EVs indoors in NYC. In most cases it was bikes but the principles are the same. Get beyond the niche market for EVs and we’ll know the truth. However doubt Ford ,GM or VW will ever recoup their investments in EVs.

Source, please. The reference I see for 30 deaths is for accidents, not fires.

The principles are not the same. EVs have a higher quality and more sophisticated charging system.

NYC has just recently imposed quality standards on bike retailers to keep the Chinese junk off the streets.

The best selling vehicle in the world is an EV.

The #4 best selling vehicle in the US is an EV.
