Meat chickens, typically fryers are raised in as little as 6 to 7 weeks. Roasting birds a few weeks longer. Laying hens are usually at least 21-23 weeks old. So it takes an average three times as long to raise laying hens. There is a big egg farm about three miles from me, the company produces about 9 million eggs a day. Given the amount of electricity, feed, labor, structure in an operation like that, eggs are cheap. You have to produce a LOT of eggs to make a decent profit. Losing millions of chickens to disease is a big hit. They claim to have 11 million laying hens at a given time. Giving that many chickens a vaccination is also a big unplanned expense.
So meat flocks are not exposed to the virus like laying birds are? Because laying birds are around longer?
I know I do not want mrna anything. I just won’t have it.
