I absolutely agree. This site is not important enough to the outside world to need lifelock to secure it. Who by the way were hacked themselves...
I was not the one calling for stricter security. I think it is fine the way it is and the users need to take precautions of their own... Unfortunately there are folks here who are not quite sure how to do that.
It is very anonymous the way it is. This is one of the most important things to keep in mind when you have a site. Protecting the users anonymity should always be priority one.
And being an officially pro-God (of the Bible), pro-Constitution etc. conservative site, then pushers of the contrary are usually zotted or must key a low key on those aspects, though if anything in that regard, I see it too tolerant of some.
