My 86 year old mother does not have a computer or Internet. Her hearing isn't great, so the phone is a bad idea. However, she presents very well in person. She can wait her turn, and show her new checkbook, and let the clerk take it from there.

My Mom is 97. She wouldn’t know how to turn on a computer. That is what sons and daughter and social workers are for.
