A “possible” tornado?

Report what you know.

Could be straight-line winds. Just as damaging.

A possible tornado is one where the radar showed data BUT … it will be confirmed when they examine the damage when it is daylight.

When we had the “Good Friday” tornado back in 2011 I watched the weatherman stating how there was a “debris field” on the Doppler radar. He was telling people to take cover. The emphasis wasn’t on TORNADO It was on debris field detection technology.

6 "possible tornados" ?

Tornados are VERY LOUD and have very high winds. How does one not know if they have been in a tornado ? I guess they are going to blame it on President Trump. Apparently they have no one at the NWS with a brain anymore.

Well, they allegedly touched down and allegedly caused alleged damage, according to unnamed sources.

A “possible” tornado?

With the advent of doorbell cameras they should be able to identify the perps and press charges for the damage.

It’s not named a “tornado” until the National Weather Service says it is a tornado.

Well, what do you call a radar signature that appeared to be a tornado, but it’s not 100% definitive, and the formal ground survey has yet to be done?
