I disagree. ‘They’ will go dormant and wait it out.

Absent replacing every single GSxx manager/administrator & above plus all congresscritters, the damage will be minimal.

They’ will go dormant and wait it out.

Not a long time. 4 years under Trump. If we're lucky, 4-8 years under Vance.

Then it'll be back to business as usual.

Democrats and RINOs included.

There are actually three separate issues:

—Congress—big picture big problem but has less power than you might think
—Bureaucrat managers—big problem but easier to fix
—Specific grants/programs—big problem but easier to fix

President Trump is working the last two issues—and doing a great job so far and I expect will continue to work on that.

Congressional corruption is the biggest issue that will stick with us. Probably 95% of the Democrats and 60% of the Republicans came to DC to line their pockets—and they are stealing everything in sight.

That said—Congress has a weakness.

They do not micromanage in most cases. That means President Trump can probably fix 80% of the corruption—one baby step at a time.

Congress will have a hard time dealing with it without specific (super detailed) pork including dollars that they intend to force the President to spend utilizing Impoundment.

(Example: Project for NGO that is run by Congress-critter X’s mistress for X dollars for X fiscal year.)

Congress does not normally get that specific because it is blatant written corruption that opens them to blackmail by any real or potential adversary.
